Downloading

For anyone who is unsure how to download items on this and other Sims Sites, here is how:

When you download you need to first save them to somewhere you know, like making a file called Downloads in My
Documents.

Then when downloaded to this file, usually in zip form, use
WinZip to extract them.

When extracted move the objects to the correct Sims folder:

Objects go in:    My Computer > C > Programmes > Maxis > TheSims > Game Data > Objects (or User Objects)
Walls go in:        My Computer > C > Programmes > Maxis > TheSims > Game Data > Walls
Floors in:            My Computer > C > Programmes > Maxis > TheSims > Game Data > Floors
Skins in:             My Computer > C > Programmes > Maxis > TheSims > Game Data > Skins

(NB please read any notes if included in zip)

If you find that too difficult you can get File Maid from here:  http://mattwork.potsdam.edu/projects/SimFileMaid/

With that little programme you can just drop the zip file onto it and it will unzip and put your items in for you. I personally prefer
putting my items in myself as I can see where they are going, but if you find it hard to understand, its probably safer to use
FileMaid :O)

Hope this has helped :O)

Object Making

If you would like to make your own objects for your simmies ... here are some links to help you:

Walls and Floors
These can be made yourself via a downloadable programme called Home Crafter from the Sims Official site. You will need
this programme plus an image/paint programme to design your own.

Pictures
These can be made by downloading a programme called Art Studio, also from the official site.

Objects.
There are many sites out there with tutorials on different object making, here is just a few of them:
The Bunny Wuffles School of Transmogrification
